The plate is 3/16"

We've pretty much got the hoops where we want them. But squeezing these 14" travel 2.5" coilovers in here is no easy feat. Everything is going in with very little room to spare.

After plating the frame we're dropping in the hoops. We'll gusset the hoops later but for now well start building the track bar bracket.

For the sas kit, the hoop and track bar bracket will be welded together ready to be welded to the frame. The fish plates that are welded to the frame first will be separate due to the frame not being flat. They'll need to be welded in place first then the hoops after

Yes Sir!
We've just been doing so much jumping around I'll probably end up fleshing out all of these threads closer to the end. This week should be a pretty big week though and I'll sit down and do some writing and pic posting for sure.  cheers

Nice. After spending hours cutting 3/16th plate with a 4.5 inch angle grinder for my welding table/welder cart tonight. I didn't want to think about doing that with those curved edges lol.

I'm in a need of a plasma cutter ASAP lol.

Somehow I didn't get a picture of the completed track bar it ended up right where it is in the picture. it's just boxed in.

Here is a picture of the axle all mounted up and ready to go pre-Paint
