hi guys i need a help from you, my friends and i are planning to go to moab on august 9 and i know that some of you guys already went there.

what i need is information like map of the trails,if we can camp or we need to rent a hotel for the 3 days we planning to stay and other tips you guys may have.

It can be hit and miss re needing to reserve a hotel ahead of time.  There can be a lot of off road and classic car events so when those occur you have to reserve a room well ahead of time.  There are also some private campgrounds in the area or you can also consider staying in Canyonlands NP.  I stayed in Canyonlands and it was great.  Got a backcountry campsite for almost a week with my wife off of the White Rim Trail and we probably only saw 1-2 other trucks per day.

Also, I think August will likely be brutally hot.

penski61 thanks for the info it going to help a lot, about the trails we don't know get
we want to start with a trail rated 4 or 5, any suggestions?
i couldn't find any maps or how to get to the trails in the web site.

i forgot to ask you guys did we need a insurance different than the liability?
also we going to transport or vehicles on a car carrier.did you guys know if we can park the car carrier in town?

www.traildamage.com will have good maps and stuff steel bender is a real fun one just try and bypass one section is what ive heard(take a right at the top of a hill instead of a left lol) , we bypassed it last year cause i guess it makes the trail very long and you dont get to do much
here ya go start where it says steel bender then keep right so you dont go on that loop
