The 22nd EG (for short) is merely a group of friends who met wheeling, or before, and decided they were such a good "fit" that they should have a name. The group stands for safe off-roading, friendly interaction with authorities, helping others and each other, and learning by both good-and sometimes bad-examples and knowledge. At some point we decided there should be minimum standards for bearing the "logo" and a point system was made for both mechanical mods and personal certifications. The point system is still in debate, and may or may not be used. Whether or not it is used we will continue to encourage those interested in the group to improve themselves and maintain capable, safe rigs. Most of our runs are intended to cater to mildly modified 4x4 rigs for obvious safety reasons; and the fact that none of us are out to damage the trail or anyones rig. Some future black diamond runs will be the exception to this rule, in which minimum requirements MUST be met to attend.

This post will be modified and added to as necessary, so it may be necessary to skim over it again soon!

Hey oz, we're actually in the middle of panning this out.
We're really going to be opening up the restrictions to let it be A LOT more open then we originally intended.
We should have it settled tomorrow.

REQs look like they are going to be : minimum two runs with minimum three members, one run must be an overnight run, you must have 4WD. we just want to make sure we get quality, safe, wheelers who respect the trail.  The req's for Black Diamond member are still in debate and will be posted much later.

Me too. A Mod Day and 2 runs - one of them overnight. But I get a feeling they don't want me in. Could just be my hyper-insecurity?

Maybe you'll have better luck than me!

the initiation should be a graveyard run through john bull- we drop them off at 7pm and come back for them at 7am and they need to try to get as far as they can on the trail or finish.  Thumb-Up Grin
