i keep having a problem where my air box gets full of water, and the air filter is totally soaked therefore having to stop and dry it out/change out filter. this happens when i am driving on freeway in rain. i turned the head of the snorkel around backwards, and sealed up everything in the air box! there one small drain hole in air box but thats it. i am still having this problem. could it be that still with the head of the snorkel backwards im still just sucking in so much moisture at that higher RPM on the freeway? and its just trapping in air filter and pooling up? thats the only thing i can think. any ideas or suggestions?

It sounds like you're on the right track.  What about installing a pre-filter like this?
