There weren't any 2nd Xs on the trail, just earlier Nissans; with a Jeep, Toyota, and Chevy added to the mix. The obstacles provided plenty of excitment along with some damage. The repairs were made pretty quickly and didn't hold up the show, even replacing a front axle on the only IFS 1st Gen X on the trail.

Kevin, the trail leader on the first obstacle - 50-50.

Damn, that looks pretty bad assed!!  Did the ifs guy get a crap load of damage on that?  Looks like he was off camber and leaning on it.  Pretty ballsy going for it, it looks like a really nice X!
