Also like how you got 2 batteries under the hood!

thanks!

I will post some videos soon.

Ya those batteries took some fitting to get the filter block in there also. I'm thinking switching or trying to get td27t airfilter box in and water proofing it. this may give me room for a 3rd battery as the d21/wd21 diesels have the second battery where my air box is.

must give appreciation to nissan nut. your website has helped me with a lot of modifications. Some of the info I have gotten from your personal webpage has been invaluable to me.

ok so on my mountain trip I wore the slip yoke out of my wagoneer front driveshaft. It was giving me a real nice SNAP noise if I downshifted in low gears and wasn't careful. I went about finding a new slip yoke and splines online. To my surprise it appears spicer updated the shaft and spline sizes for the 1310 stuff after 81. So my front drive shaft is 1.78in OD tube with a 1.2 in OD spline. I don't know how long the spline to yoke contact surface is.

I went to local junk yard and pulled a drive shaft from a 1990 jeep cherokee xj. This had a good slip joint and the newer 2in od tubing and 1.3in od splines. From info I found on this forum and nissan nut webpage. I tracked down all the spicer numbers to make a high working angle drive shaft. this uses 1310-1330 conversion u-joint along with a 1330 center yoke on a 1310 cv driveshaft. the ID of the 1330 yoke is slightly larger then the 1310 center yoke allowing the center cv ball to rotate to its maximum angle. I also clearance my drive flange abit to make sure the 1330 center yoke wouldn't contact anything. then had it balanced and shortened to 24-27in working length from the 31-34in off the xj

not much more angle but it's there. plus the drive flange is missing off the wagoneer drive shaft so the center yoke is allowed to go abit further then it normally can.

very stable and far exceeded my expectations for handling for no sway bars on a tall truck on highway and hard corners. suspension seems to flex and take everything in stride very nicely.
