Kenny is doing such a great job on my buggy. I knew he was good but he has gone over the top with this and I am very proud to say he built it. Was over today and we got more work done. Trying to make the hammers in feb. Its going to be close but I think it will make it there. Even if it does not run I think I will bring it and stare at it the hole time I am there LOL

holy moly! is there a performance benefit to having the header tubes 5' long, or is that just how they had to fit?

Title: Re: Showtime Buggy
Post by: theking on December 29, 2012, 11:44:42 PM
the ideal length of primary tubes for this motor is 31 inches.  That's supposed to get the max hp.  You want them all equal length, too.  I think i'm within an inch or two.  Pretty hard to get them exact.  We still need to get your steering squared away. :cover:
