If you guys recall, recently there was a wildland fire in the San Bernardino mountains that burned some 1700 acres, killed close to 60 + people, took out around a 100 homes. * Keeping those who lost lives and homes in that fire in our prayers* The National forest Service has closed down some areas to ohv and limited access to camp grounds while clean up is in progress.

Lytle Creek Trail Closed

Ranger who said the road is impassible due to a 30' fissure that was created not too long ago by the rains.

holy crap....
I was up there during the rain before i left to Tahoe. It was bad and rushing down at a rate that was not recommended for travel. we left shortly after showing up and the erosion that had occurred just while we were there was absolutely incredible.
