Title: Bahia De Los Angeles to San Francisquito Post by: BlackX on July 06, 2012, 08:57:19 AM A few weeks ago I did a guys trip with some friends down to Baja. The first day we drove from San Diego down to my friends house in Bahia De Los Angeles (LA Bay). I love this drive. It's about 8 hours from San Diego and after about half way it just turns to incredible desert.

It's only about 85 miles but takes 4 hours due to the rough road. It doesn't look so bad but the Yak rack on my friends truck rattled so much the bolts broke. It was primarily used to throw drunks in until they sobered up. Camped right on the beach for $5/night. I visited him on this trip to say thanks. His ranch is awesome. I've off-roaded down to Punta San Francisquito once too, on the same road as you. It's a good one. One of the best off-road trips i've done in my life.
