Title: Re: 87 v6 hardbody transfer case problems Post by: Keithwidney on November 03, 2011, 07:01:43 PM Yes the truck is driven daily, the selector is in the neutral position and that's my 2wd . I have pushed down and pulled up on the selector and can't get it to move .
Title: Re: 87 v6 hardbody transfer case problems Post by: Keithwidney on November 04, 2011, 06:18:57 AM Well I'm an idiot . When I would push in on on the selector I would try to push forward toward the dash . Well this morning I got it to work . I also thought it was going into 4 low because of how much torque there was. I have to say I love my truck and can't wait to try 4low

These trucks a pretty deep differential gearing from the factory the t-case low range is 2.02:1 which is ok but isn't terribly deep.
