ill have pics of the drivers side tomorrow , center piece is bolt on so i can remove the taillight without having to remove the bumper

ill spend tomorrow making the pass side

haha , got drivers side all welded in
i painted most of it before i put it on then i changed my mind on another detachable bar  :hit:
also wasnt paying attention and the tabs arent the same height but atleast i was able to get the bar pretty much straight

Damn, you have a lot of extra metal on there!  Good thing you don't have an underpowered pathfinder engine, I'd love to have all kinds of cool armor but could never pull it all!

i tried to dove tail the bed and  i pretty much screwed it up , so i junked the bed and here is what ive got done so far

everything is just tacked in so i can figure out the lines , then i will probably straighten everything out , work out the bed situation  and get the cage  powdercoated except the end so i an weld it to the frame

got some of the holes cut out for the lights ,  the bigger lights will be centered on the back of the tire carrier with the licence plate , still need to make a mount for the gas can and buy some straps for the C02 tank

almost done with the outside , still need to weld the panels the rest of the way on then ill start on the wheel wells then the floor

i ran out of wire but got the panels mostly welded in for the front portion of the bed , took forever to get each piece fitted in their place
also the bed in now bolt on

didnt get much done today because i wasnt feelin great but got some chains installed for stops on the tire carrier
need to buy some bolts for the lugs to bolt onto then the carrier will be done

i dont think ill have any problems  , the tire carrier at its lowest is even with the frame
before i would drag the bumper on certain things but not many and that sat quite a bit lower than the frame

well i havent had much time to work on the truck lately , been working 50-60 hours a week but i made some time this weekend
got the floor for the bed pretty much done , need to finish welding it up then fit the gas tank in there
once thats done bed will come off get cleaned up then go to powdercoat , im so ready to get this thing done

not much of an update , one last test fitting after cleaning up the welds
floor is all done  with welded nuts underneath for easier mounting , today just need to drill the holes for the all thread so i can test mount the gas tank then the bed comes back off and goes to powdercoat monday !!

ok so, i have an 02 xterra, a 2008 harley nightster 1200, an 04 YZ250F, an 02 TTR-125, 42" lcd with sony surround sound, PS3, Takamine G-series acoustic guitar, a brand new surfboard, Burton Dominant Snow board, fULL set up of rock climbing gear, all scuba gear, AND MY SOUL...... its all yours for this truck.seems like a fair trade. hahaha that things so sick dude. nice work!  (obviously i have way too much time on my hands to write all that) :hit:

yep still street legal  , i re-used the mudflaps i had on there before just had to extend them out
i drive around town and havent gotten pulled over , and no i dont daily drive it lol but my wife did drive it back and forth to work a couple days when we had work done on the other truck

so now i have 2 options , tire carrier and some bed space or this  ;D
the tailgate gives me about 2-1/2ft clearance over the tire carrier

still need to add the other cross brace then the mounts for the chains then clean it up and off to powdercoat
