This was the weekend of 10/2 - 10/3 We had some rain out there which was fun! The weather was not bad at all. 85-90 during the day. We drove out to the Salton Sea - We searched for a "bradshaw trail" from Mecca to The Colorado River (Blythe) but could not find the trail head. We really need to invest in a GPS. Anyways here are some pics. Anza Borrego Sunrise 10/2. no photo editing whatsoever

Yup you can camp anywhere in anza borrego, don't even need a pass. There's hundreds of miles of off road trails available. It's where you can get some peaceful wheelin in while all the savages go out east to Ocotillo Wells.
The main thing to remember in Anza Borrego Desert State Park, is that fires must be in a metal container.
Black X, yes i'm in SD, what shop you see it at?

A guy named Les located on Mississippi St. in North Park. If that's you this is funny because I've seen your truck several time and have thought "Nice truck. I have to meet that guy."

nice! yeah Les is the man! He did a lot of the work that i wasn't capable of, such as new transmission and new transfer case, and urethane rear control arm bushings.... he also fixed the broken exhaust manifold studs on my buddy's 95!
He's a good guy.
gitarboy, im not against the guys at ocotillo, its just not my style to tear up the terrain doing full throttle rooster tails while screaming yeee haaa, if you know what i mean.

That's awesome! My office is in the Lafayette across the street. I take my dog to work and walk her around the block several times a day. That's how I've seen your truck. Les is a great guy. I do most of the work on my truck, but I take my wife's car to Les for most of that work. Now I finally know who owns that awesome Infiniti.

Any idea what the cost was for the manifold studs? Just curious, if anything I should be looking at something else, and a better paying job

it was around $300 for les to do only the drivers side (the side with tougher access)
we did the passenger side ourselves.
