That whole car fit in the hb??? Is the engine in the beast?? Title: Re: Deconstruction Post by: theking on September 30, 2010, 01:50:14 AM Two truck loads. lol I sold everything. I'm not sure exactly what to do next.
Title: Re: Deconstruction Post by: helix66 on September 30, 2010, 10:08:34 PM Scrap??
What did you keep from it, the engine, trans and harness/computer? Any benefit with that engine (vq30de), I'm guessing not swap worthy. Title: Re: Deconstruction Post by: theking on September 30, 2010, 11:38:20 PM I didn't keep anything. The problem with the VQ30 is that the air intake points toward the back of the motor. It would hit the firewall in a RWD orientation.
Title: Re: Deconstruction Post by: SteeevO on October 01, 2010, 12:50:16 PM That motor had some power.. should kept it.
Title: Re: Deconstruction Post by: helix66 on October 01, 2010, 10:43:19 PM That motor had some power.. should kept it. Really? Could you have changed the intake? Title: Re: Deconstruction Post by: theking on October 02, 2010, 12:50:10 AM There's no other stock intake that I know of. I guess I could have made a custom intake. :D
I think a lot of sand rails use the vq30. Yeah, I toss away a lot of things I should have kept. ::) |
